The FAPC Research Symposium brings together researchers, industry partners and collaborators to highlight work in food and agricultural systems through oral and poster presentations, featured speakers and networking opportunities. A six-member panel of industry experts will be available for questions and discussion.

Presenter Application Opens: January 23, 2026
Presenter Application Closes: February 20, 2026

Candidates to submit abstracts (example) and application form to fapc@okstate.edu between January 23 and February 20, 2026. Successful candidates will be notified by email by February 27, 2026. Once accepted, participants must register for the event by March 13, 2026, 5 p.m. See "register" link above.

Participants may compete as:

• Oral presenter (PowerPoint presentation submission deadline: Fri., March 13, 2026, 5 p.m. to fapc@okstate.edu)
  Oral presentations will be scheduled in 15-minute increments, inclusive of Q&A. 

• Poster presenter (Posters must be delivered to 201 FAPC by 3 p.m. on Mon., March 23, 2026; Max poster size: 46" x 70"); Displayed on provided display boards in the FAPC atrium.

• Oral + poster presenter (Presenters must submit application for oral presentation and poster presentation separately; Upon email confirmation of acceptance to each independently, you may register beginning January 23, 2026. Oral presentation and poster presentation cannot be the same topic).

Presenter Application Instructions:

• Submit your application and abstract for the 2026 Research Symposium between
  January 23 and February 20, 2026. Click here for "Call for Abstracts" details.
  Late submissions will not be accepted. Oral and poster applications are considered separately, so please submit each application separately.

• Email the following materials to fapc@okstate.edu no later than
  5:00 p.m. on February 20, 2026 with the subject line: 2026 Research Symposium Application

  • A copy of your abstract (200-300 words)

  • The completed application form.

  • Abstract Sample

The FAPC Research Symposium will be held Tues., March 24, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Food & Agricultural Products Center on the Oklahoma State University Campus. The symposium brings together faculty, students and industry partners to share current research and innovation related to food and agricultural products. Seating is limited; advance registration is encouraged. Lunch is provided for registered attendees.
