DESCRIPTION:The Payne County Hoof to Hook Youth Steer Feedout & Carcass Con
 test is designed to educate and empower youth in all aspects of beef produ
 ction\; from pasture to plate. Participants gain real-world experience in 
 feed efficiency\, carcass evaluation and industry standards while developi
 ng decision-making skills essential to today’s beef industry. \n\n \n\nT
 he contest will conclude with an awards ceremony at the 2026 Cattlemen’s
  Banquet in October\, where participating youth will be recognized for the
 ir commitment\, performance and growth throughout the project.\n\n \n\nInt
 erested families are encouraged to attend this orientation to learn more.
