The Mvskoke Traditions Summer Camp, hosted by OSU Extension and the College of the Muscogee Nation Extension, will take place July 30–31, 2025, on the College of the Muscogee Nation campus in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. This free two-day day camp is open to Native and local youth entering grades 3 through 12 and is designed to celebrate and explore Muscogee (Creek) heritage through hands-on learning and cultural engagement. Campers will participate in a variety of activities, including demonstrations and play of traditional Mvskoke games (Stickball, Hand Games, and more), traditional arts and crafts such as pottery, painting, and cornhusk doll making, and a guided exploration of cultural plants culminating in the creation of individual dish gardens. Each activity is rooted in Native values, with an emphasis on community, wellness, and respect.

Lunch and all materials are provided at no cost. Transportation to and from the College of the Muscogee Nation is not provided. Space is limited, and registration is required.
