We have an exciting program coming to Pontotoc County!

Bring in your hay samples for our Hay Analysis Program! Samples are discounted to $9 per forage sample with a max of 5 samples per participant. This includes Dry Matter, Protein, ADF, NDF, TDN, Net Energy, RFV for Alfalfa + Lignin, and Nitrate toxicity levels.

The Soils, Water, and Forage Lab will be using their new Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) testing which has a quick turn around for results.

Samples will be taken from now until September 15, 2025.

On October 2nd, 10:00am, we will have OSU Extension Specialists join us to discuss sampling, testing procedures, and cover forage test results and what they mean in terms of management and feeding.
