A mini conference to kick off the garden season will be held at Gordon Cooper Technology Center in partnership with the Multi-County Master Gardeners. The 2026 theme is Garden Smarter! Presentations will include Smarter Plant Selections (ornamentals) by Laura Payne, It’s All about Timing! (for veggies) by Lynda Carrier and Matt Beartrack and Water Smarter by Andrew Fleet. Continental breakfast, vendor booths and door prizes will round out the event. The cost for this event is $20 per person. An online registration link will be added and go live by mid November 2025. Early registration is encouraged, tickets will also be available at the door.
