DESCRIPTION:Fruit and vegetable growers and others interested in learning a
 bout produce safety\, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Saf
 ety Rule\, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs)\, and co-management of natur
 al resources and food safety. The PSA Grower Training Course is one way to
  satisfy the FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirement outlined in § 112.22(c)
  that requires ‘At least one supervisor or responsible party for your fa
 rm must have successfully completed food safety training at least equivale
 nt to that received under standardized curriculum recognized as adequate b
 y the Food and Drug Administration.’ The training is offered in collabor
 ation with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture\, Food & Forestry.\n\n \
 n\nCost: $25 per person. \n\nA $25 fee will be billed to those who fail to
  cancel or attend.\n\n \n\nThis course is partially supported by the Food 
 and Drug Administration (FDA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human S
 ervices (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award U2FFD007438 totaling
