he Kay County Extension Office location is different from the location whe
re the class will be taught.\n\n \n\n \n\nParents who are\, or soon will b
e “ex-spouses” must still work together to benefit their child. The ti
tle “Co-parenting for Resilience” refers to strategies divorcing paren
ts can use to work together to help their children be “resilient\,” or
to bounce back from the effects of a divorce and return to a normal life.
\n\n \n\nAdditionally\, some people may be asked to take this class for is
 sues related to custody\, paternity\, legal separation\, contempt\, step-f
amily break up\, etc. Because the goals of Co-Parenting for Resilience cla
ss focus on helping the children\, it addresses these situations as well.\
n\n \n\nThe Co-parenting for Resilience program uses a combination of lect
 ure\, discussion\, video\, exercises\, and example/role-playing to help pa
rents discover new ways to help their children adjust to the divorce. The
program\, available online and in person\, lasts between approximately 4 h
